Lucas Haneman is an award-winning guitarist and songwriter known for his dynamic performances and eclectic style, blending funk, folk, R&B, rock, and blues. A Concordia University Jazz Studies graduate, he has earned honours such as the CBC Galaxy Rising Star Award and Oscar Peterson Scholarship and competed twice at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Leading The LH Express since 2014, Haneman has released four acclaimed albums, including “Painting Stars”, which debuted at #1 in Canada in 2023. The band also won a Maple Blues Sapphire Award for their music video “Ms. McGrim”. Lucas has toured internationally, shared stages with legends like The Dave Matthews Band, Robert Cray and the late great Jeff Healey, to name a few and recently released his third solo album, “I’m Just One Man” (December 2024). He has also recorded with famed producer Rob Fraboni (The Band, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and many more).
